Ciao Yarra Valley Ciao - Festa di via Verde event!

It was the perfect way to celebrate the first day of summer at the Ciao Yarra Valley Ciao - Festa di via Verde! The festival showcases and celebrates the Italian heritage in the Healesville region, Yarra Valley. The atmosphere was amazing from food tastings, wine, gelato, continuous live music and entertainment. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoy and be part of the event.

I had demonstrated and sold samples my handmade cavatelli pasta tossed through delicious extra virgin olive oil, garlic, zucchini, lemon zest and pangrattato and I can happily say they quickly sold out. I also sold my cookbook and almond biscuits packs. I loved chatting and laughing with everyone and like always enjoyed talking about food, pasta and cookbooks!

Thank you to my gorgeous family that helped at the festival. I was happy my mum was able to make it also, I actually thought at one stage she would start dancing the tarantella with the live entertainment. The atmosphere drew you into the Italian culture perfectly!
